Note: If the resistance is too high or too low, you
can adjust the resistance by pressing the
Resistance buttons. However, when the console
compares your heart rate to the target heart rate,
the resistance may automatically change.
The Training Zone
a
bar will help you
to maintain a con-
stant pace during
the program. The
lit indicators in the
bar will show your
actual pace. If an
b
indicator to the
right of the lit indi-
cators is flashing
(see drawing a),
increase your
pace. If an indica-
tor to the left of any lit indicator is flashing (see
drawing b), decrease your pace. When no indica-
tor is flashing, maintain your current pace.
Important: The Training Zone bar is intended
only to provide motivation. Make sure to
exercise at a pace that is comfortable for you.
The program will continue in this way until the
main display shows that no time remains in the
program.
Note: If you stop pedalling for several seconds, a
tone will sound and the program will pause. To
restart the program, simply resume pedalling.
Monitor your progress with the main display.
