Closed defect summary
Exceptions and Null error occur while refreshing data
from server to client.
Symptom—When refresh is selected, the following
error is displayed:
Could not contact DCFM server Null.
Zoning dialog shows a message banner for switch
level changes in a fabric scope.
Symptom—A message banner appears in the Zoning
dialog whenever FAS broadcast messages for the
selected fabric scope.
Backup Message should not be displayed when client
and server are on the same host.
Symptom—When both the client and server are
running on the same host, the Backup Option dialog
displays a warning message about the network
location.
Device ports zoned with domain, port config fails
in Device connectivity zone diagnosis.
Symptom—Diagnosis reports that device ports that are
zoned are not.
Zoning dialog: Reverse finding is failing in some
scenarios when selected a zone member is part of a
Chassis-based switch.
Symptom—When a user invokes reverse finding after
selecting a Domain or Port Index zone member from
the Zones panel, the following message appears in
the Zoning dialog: "no matches found."
Registering some other host as a trap recipient for a
switch discovered using SNMPv3, replaces the
nl
corresponding trap entry in the switch for that particu-
lar SNMP user.
Symptom—DCFM will not receive traps if the DCFM
server IP is replaced in the switch as a trap recipient.
Repaint issue sometimes occurs in Editable Zone DB
tree for a specific zone DB.
Symptom—When a user loads Zone DB from both
views in the Compare/Merge dialog, the member in
the first zone config does not appear correctly.
Activating a new zoning config that replaces the entire
current fabric cfg causes an error.
Symptom—When a user activates a new zone config
from the new zone DB after removing the existing zone
DB from the Zoning dialog, a zone database failure
error appears in the dialog.

Workaround—Restart client.
