NOTE: PC3L is a low voltage memory.
NOTE: Not all Intel E5 processor series support 1600MHz or 1333MHz speeds. Memory
speed is a function of the processor QPI speed.
NOTE: Prior to making a power supply selection it is highly recommended that the HP
Power Advisor is run to determine the right size power supply for your server
configuration. The HP Power Advisor is located at: www.hp.com/go/hppoweradvisor.
NOTE: HP ProLiant DL160 Gen8 has only one power supply slot, above mentioned
power supplies will not be Hot Plug for DL160 Gen8.
HP 500W Platinum Factory Integrated Power Supply Kit with Backplane
NOTE: Since this power supply is not common slot it does not allow iPDU to obtain HP
Location Discovery Services information. iLO Advanced Pack is required for Discovery
Services in DL160 Gen8.

Enablement Kit
HP DL160 Gen8 FIO Power Backplane Kit
NOTE: When configuring the HP ProLiant DL160 Gen8 with a Common Slot power
supply, the HP Power Backplane DL160 Gen8 FIO Kit (PN 662959-B21) must be used for
proper installation. The Common Slot power supply and power backplane kit for the
DL160 Gen8 must be factory installed and cannot be purchased as separate options.
