CARING FOR THE GBC
HEATSEAL 800 PRO-R
GBC offers Cleaning kits as well as
Extended Maintenance Agreements.
Contact your local GBC Service
Representative or your dealer/distributor
additional information.
The only maintenance required by the
operator is to periodically clean the rollers
and heat shoes. The following procedure
will help keep the rollers and heat shoes
free of adhesive that has been deposited
along the edge of the laminating film.
Proper alignment of the rolls of film
reduces the amount of "squeeze out".
CAUTION: THE FOLLOWING
!
PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED
WHILE THE LAMINATOR IS HOT. USE
EXTREME CAUTION.
WARNING: Do not apply cleaning
!
fluids or solvents to the rollers.
WARNING: Do not attempt to
!
laminate adhesives marked
"Flammable".
- NEVER clean rollers with sharp or
pointed objects.
- Hardened adhesive deposits on the
rollers can cause damage to the rollers.
Rotate the rollers at the lowest speed
setting on the control panel.
- Do not laminate glitter and/or metallic
items. Damage to the rollers may result.
1. Remove the film from the laminator
following the procedure outlined in the
section FILM LOADING AND
THREADING.
2. Preheat the laminator until the READY
lamp illuminates.
3. Clean the top and bottom heat shoes
with a soft cloth.
4. Install the feed table and lower the
shield.
5. Press RUN to rotate the rollers to an
unclean portion. Press STOP.
Continue this process until the complete
surface of both rollers are clean.
6. Follow the procedure in section FILM
LOADING AND THREADING, Method
Using Film Threading Card to reload
the laminator.
*NOTE: Do not use metal scouring pads
to clean rollers or heat shoes!

des contrats d'entretien à long terme.
Contactez votre représentant de service
local GBC ou votre
distributeur/représentant pour obtenir plus
d'information.
Le seul entretien requis de la part de
l'opérateur est un nettoyage régulier des
rouleaux chauffants. Conformez-vous aux
instructions suivantes pour nettoyer les
dépôts de colle laissée par les bords du
film et vos rouleaux et rouleaux chauffants
se conserveront plus longtemps. Un
alignement correct des bobines de film
réduit l'accumulation de ces résidus
« exprimés ».
ATTENTION : L'OPÉRATION

SUIVANTE DOIT TRE EFFECTUÉE
LORSQUE LA PLASTIFIEUSE EST
CHAUDE. SOYEZ TRÈS PRUDENT.
AVERTISSEMENT : Ne déposez
!
pas de produit de nettoyage ou de
solvant sur les rouleaux.
AVERTISSEMENT : Ne plastifiez
!
pas de supports adhésifs portant
la mention 'inflammables'.
- Ne nettoyez JAMAIS les rouleaux avec
un objet pointu ou tranchant.
- Les dépôts de colle durcie peuvent
endommager les rouleaux. Faites tourner
ces derniers à la vitesse la plus lente sur
le panneau de contrôle.
- Ne plastifiez pas d'articles métalliques ou
brillants. Cela pourrait endommager les
rouleaux.
1. Retirez la bobine de film de la
plastifieuse en suivant la procédure
décrite sous la section CHARGEMENT
ET ENFILAGE DU FILM .
2. Préchauffez la plastifieuse jusqu'à ce
que le voyant ' Prêt ' READY s'allume.
3. Nettoyez les rouleaux chauffants inférieur
et supérieur avec un chiffon doux.
4. Installez le plateau d'alimentation et
abaissez l'écran de protection.
5. Appuyez sur la touche ' Marche ' RUN
pour faire tourner les rouleaux jusqu'à
une section à nettoyer. Appuyez sur
STOP. Poursuivez l'opération jusqu'à ce
que toute la surface des rouleaux soit
propre.
6. Reportez-vous à la section
'CHARGEMENT ET ENFILAGE DU FILM -
Utilisation de la carte d'enfilage du film'
pour repositionner la bobine de film.
NOTA : N'utilisez pas de tampon à récurer
métallique pour nettoyer les rouleaux
chauffants et les rouleaux!

CUIDADO DE LA PLASTIFICADORA

GBC ofrece juegos de limpieza así como
también Acuerdos de Mantenimiento por
períodos prolongados.
Póngase en contacto con su Representante
de Servicio local de GBC o con su distribuidor
si requiere información adicional.
El único mantenimiento requerido por el
operador es la limpieza periódica de los
rodillos y las cubiertas de calor. El siguiente
procedimiento ayudará a mantener los
rodillos y las cubiertas de calor sin el
adhesivo que se deposita a lo largo de la
orilla de la película de plastificado.
El alineamiento apropiado de los rollos de
película reduce la cantidad de adhesivo
"exprimido".
PRECAUCIÓN: EL SIGUIENTE

- NUNCA limpie los rodillos con objetos
afilados o puntiagudos.
- Los depósitos endurecidos de adhesivo
en los rodillos pueden ocasionarles daños.
Gire los rodillos a la velocidad más baja
definida en el panel de control.
- plastifique artículos brillantes
(metalizados) y/o metálicos. Pueden
dañar los rodillos.
1. Retire la película de la plastificadora
siguiendo el procedimiento señalado en
la sección CARGA Y ENROLLAMIENTO
DE PELÍCULA.
2. Caliente previamente la plastificadora
hasta que la lámpara READY
(PREPARADO) se ilumine.
3. Limpie con un lienzo seco las cubiertas
de calentamiento superior e inferior.
4. Instale la tabla de alimentación y baje la
cubierta de protección.
5. Pulse RUN (AVANCE) para girar los
rodillos hasta una sección con residuos.
Pulse STOP (ALTO). Continúe con este
procedimiento hasta que la superficie
completa de ambos rodillos esté limpia.
6. Siga el procedimiento de la sección
CARGA Y ENROLLAMIENTO DE
PELÍCULA, Método utilizando la
tarjeta de enrollamiento de película
para volver a cargar la plastificadora.
* NOTA: No use cojinetes de metal para
frotar y limpiar los rodillos o las cubiertas
de calentamiento
