D BATTERY PACK/CASE
• BP-226
battery case
Battery case for 5 × AA (LR6) alkaline cells. The BP-226 meets IPX4 re-
quirements for splash resistance*. When it is connected, the transceiver
corresponds to IPX4.
• BP-227/BP-227FM
Voltage
Capacity : 1850 mAh (minimum)/1950 mAh (typical)
BP-227/BP-227FM must be charged with the optional BC-152N/BC-190/
BC-119N/BC-121N.
D CHARGERS
• BC-152N
Used for regular charging of the battery pack. The AC adapter, BC-147S,
must be purchased separately.
Charging time: Approximately 10 hours for BP-227/FM.
• BC-190
desktop charger
Used for rapid charging of the battery pack. The AC adapter, BC-145, is
not supplied with some versions.
Charging time: Approximately 2.5 to 4.25 hours for BP-227/FM.
• BC-119N
+ BC-145S
Used for rapid charging of battery packs. The AC adapter, BC-145, is not
supplied with some versions.
Charging time: Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours for BP-227/FM.
• BC-121N
+ BC-157
Used for rapid charging of up to 6 battery packs (six AD-100's are re-
quired) simultaneously. An AC adapter should be purchased separately.
Charging time: Approximately 2 to 2.5 hours for BP-227/FM.

Allows charging of the battery pack through a 12 V cigarette lighter sock-
et. (For BC-119N)
• OPC-515L/OPC-656
Allows charging of the battery pack using a 13.8 V power source instead
of the AC adapter.
