This Operation Manual contains information
you will need for proper operation.
A thorough understanding of these simple
instructions and of those in the Owner's
Manual of the outboard motor will help you
obtain maximum enjoyment of your new
Yamaha. This manual should be considered
a permanent part of this meter and should
remain with it even if the meter is subse-
quently sold.

SAFETY IS INVOLVED!

Failure to follow WARNING instructions

the machine operator, a bystander, or a
person inspecting or repairing the out-
board motor.

A CAUTION indicates special precau-
tions that must be taken to avoid damage
to the outboard motor.
