Removing Fan Shutters
The Cisco Nexus 6004 systems do not need the fan shutter assembly in the chassis. To remove a fan
shutter from the system, follow these steps:
Loosen the thumb screws and then remove all the fan trays.
Step 1
Hold the cross bar in the middle and pull out all the shutters. See
Step 2

Put the fan trays back in and tighten the thumbscrews.
