Whenmaking multiple orrepetitive
cutsthatresult i n cut-off p ieces ofone
inchor less,itis possible forthesaw
bladetocatchthecut-off p iece and
throwitoutofthesawor intotheblade
guardandhousing, p ossibly c ausing
damage or injury. T ominimize this
possibility, anauxiliary w oodfencecan
bemounted toyoursaw.
Holes areprovided i nthesawfence
toattach anauxiliary w ood fence. T his
fenceshould beconstructed ofstraight
auxiliary w ood.
Attach thewood fencesecurely, and
makea full-depth cuttomakea blade
slot.
Check forinterference b etween the
woodfenceandthelower bladeguard.
Adjust i f necessary.
NOTE: T hisauxiliary f enceis used
onlywiththesawbladeinthe0° bevel
position (90 ° tothetable). T heauxiliary
woodfencemustberemoved w hen
bevel c utting.

1.Useviseclamps, h old-down o r
C-clamps w henever possible. P lace
tapeontheareabeingclamped to
avoidmarking thefinishsurface of
themoulding.
2.Tapetheareabeingcutto avoid
splintering, andmarkthecutlineon
thetape.
3.Perform practice cutsonscrap
pieces before cutting thefinal
moulding.
NOTE: S plintering m aybecaused due
tothethinness ofthe moulding o r use
ofthewrong typeofblade.
