OPERATION
HOW TO USE THE PRESSUREWASHER
If youhaveanyproblems operatingyour pressure washer,
pleasecallthe pressure washerhelp-lineat [1] 919-550-3259.
PressureWasher Clearance
Prevailing winds and air currentsshouldbetaken into consideration
when positioningpressure washer.
Keepspraynozzle between8 to 24 inchesawayfrom cleaning
surface.
Operatethis unit on a stable surface.
Beextremelycarefulif you mustusethe pressure washerfrom a
ladder,scaffoldingor anyotherrelativelyunstablelocation.
Firmlygraspspraygunwith both handswhen usinghighpressure
sprayto avoidinjuryif gunkicks back.
High pressure spray could cause you to fall if you are too
close to the cleaning surface.
The high pressurestreamof water that this equipmentproduces
can pierce skin and its underlyingtissues, leadingto serious
injuryand possibleamputation.
Sprayguntraps high water pressure,even when motoris
stoppedand water is disconnected,which can causeinjury.
Keephigh pressurehoseconnected to pumpand spraygunwhile
systemis pressurized.
ALWAYSpointgun in safe directionand squeeze sprayguntrigger,
to releasehigh pressure, e verytime youstop engine.Engage
triggerlockwhen not in use.
Step 1"
Make surethat the ON/0FFswitch is in the "'OFF" p osition.
Water Supply (Cold Water Only):
Doriotdrawnon-waterliquidsthroughtile unit. Forusewith cold
water supplyonly.
Water hosemustbe at least a 1/2 inchdiameter.
Flowrate of water supplymustnot fall below2GPM(gallonsper
minute).
Flowrate canbe determined by runningthewater for oneminute
into an empty5-galloncontainer.
Thewater supplytemperaturemustnot exceed104°F
(4O°0).
A pressure washer produces a high pressure spray which
increases risk of injury and damage to unit.
Step 2:
Fastentile quick-connect couplingontotile gardenhoseandthen
attachthe quick-connecting c ouplingto the inlet adaptor,asshown
in the Figurebelow.
Step 3:
Insertthe desiredwand into spraygun,andtwist 1/4turn until
rectangular tab appears.
Alwayswear eyeprotectionwhen usingthis equipmentor in
vicinity ofwhere equipmentis in use.
Beforestartingthe pressure washer,be sureyouarewearing
adequateeyeprotection.
Step 4:
Touseanotherwand, reverse Step3 andinsert desiredwand by
repeatingStep3.
