ONE-YEAR LIMITEDWARRANTY
This Salton/MAXIM productwarranty extendsto the originalconsumer purchaserof the product
Warranty Duration: T his product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser for a period of one
(1) year from the original purchase date.
WarrantyCoverage: Thisproductis warrantedagainst d efectivematerialsor workmanship. This
warrantyis voidif the producthasbeen damagedby accident,in shipment,unreasonable use,
misuse,neglect,improperservice,commercialuse,repairsby unauthorized personnel o r other
causesnot arising out of defectsin materialsor workmanship. T hiswarrantyis effectiveonlyff the
productis purchased andoperatedin the USA,anddoesnot extendto any unitswhich havebeen
usedin violationof written instructionsfurnishedby Salton/MAXlMHousewares, I nc., or to units
which havebeenalteredor modifiedor to damageto productsor partsthereofwhich havehadthe
serial numberremoved, a ltered,defacedor renderedillegible.Wear andtear for BreadPanand
Paddleis not considered a manufacturer's defect.
WarrantyDisclaimers: Thiswarrantyis in lieu of all warrantiesexpressed o rimplied andno
representative or personisauthorized t o assume for Salton/MAXIM Housewares, Inc.anyother
liability in connection w ith thesaleof ourproducts. Thereshallbenoclaims for defects orfailureof
performanceorproduct failure underanytheoryoftort,contract o rcommercial lawincluding,butnot
limited to,negligence, gross negligence, strictliability, breach ofwarrantyandbreach of contract.
WarrantyPerformance: During the above one-year w arranty period,a productwitha defectwillbe
eitherrepaired orreplaced with a reconditioned comparable m odel ( at Salton/MAXIM's option) when
the productis returned totheSalton/MAXIMfacility.Therepaired or replacement productwillbein
warranty forthe balance ofthe one-year w arrantyperiod andanadditional one-month period. N o
charge will bemadeforsuchrepair or replacement.
Service and Repair
Should the appliancemalfunction, you shouldfirst calltoll-free 1-800-233-9054 betweenthe hours of
9:00am and 5:00pm Central Standard _me and ask for CONSUMER CUSTOMERSERVICE stating that
you are a consumer w ith a problem.
In-Warranty Service:For an appliance coveredunder the warranty period, no charge is madefor
service or postage.Callfor pro-paid return mailing label. (U.S.Customers 0nly)
Out-of Warranty Service:A flat rate charge by model is madefor out-of-warranty service. Include
$15.00for return shipping and handling.
Salton/MAXlM cannotassume responsibility for loss or damage during incoming shipment. Foryour
protection, carefullypackage the product for shipment and insure it with the carrier.Be sure to
enclose the following items with your appliance: any accessories related to your problem; your full
return addressand daytime phone number; a note describing the problem you experienced; a copyof
your sales receipt or other proof of purchase to determinewarranty status. C.O.D.shipments cannot
be accepted.
