NOTE:
You can adjust the speaker volume only when the telephone line is connected.
1.
Press <On Hook Dial>. A dial tone sounds from the speaker.
2.
Press the scroll button ( or
volume level.
3.
Press <On Hook Dial> to save the change and return to Standby mode.

Toll Save Mode

The Toll Save mode can be used to save scanned documents for transmission at a specified time in order to
take advantage of lower long distance rates.
To turn the Toll Save mode on:
1.
Press <Menu> until "Advanced Fax" appears on the top line of the display.

Press the scroll button ( or

Press <Select> when "Start Time" displays on the bottom line.

Enter the time and date when your multi-function printer starts sending toll save faxes, using the
number keypad.
To select "AM" or "PM" for 12-hour format, press the

Enter the time and date when the toll save transmission ends, using the number keypad.

Press <Select> to save the setting.

To return to Standby mode, press <Return>.
Once Toll Save mode is activated, your multi-function printer stores all of the documents to be faxed into its
memory and sends them at the programmed time.
To turn Toll Save mode off, follow steps 1 and 2 above and then press the scroll button ( or
