Booting to a Target Disk

To boot to the target disk, you must first load to the target a valid image matching the system hardware. Target loading
generally occurs by installing a fresh OS to the target disk.
1. In the BIOS boot order, set first the CD/DVD, and second the iSCSI target disk, as shown in
Figure 14. Setting the Boot Order
2. Reboot the system.
3. The Option Rom shows the iSCSI target login information, as shown in
Figure 15. Connecting to the iSCSI Target
4. Continue with OS installation (refer to the OS documentation).
