Installing CentreWare
Simple Status Notification
CentreWare Simple Status Notification (CentreWare SSN) monitors the network printer and
displays the observation result in a dialog box or as an icon on the computer.
Operating Requirements
The following is a list of OS of the computer where CentreWare SSN can be installed
and the printers that can be monitored.

Installing CentreWare SSN
Procedure
We will use Windows 98 in this procedure as an example.

Switch on the computer and start Windows 98.
Close all applications that are running, if there is any.

Insert the Software Pack CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
The Fuji Xerox Start Up Tool dialog box appears automatically. Click Exit to close it.

Click Run from the Start menu. The Run dialog box will be displayed.

Enter the drive, followed by a colon ":", and "\setup.exe". Click OK.
Example: E is the drive name. "E:\FXSsn\Setup.exe"
• Printer with TCP/IP environment setup, IP address defined
and SNMP UDP/IP protocol activated.
• Printer with NetWare environment setup and SNMP IPX
protocol activated.
