Easily Optimizing the Brightness for a Specified
Area
(Touch AE)
Applicable modes:
You can easily optimize the brightness for a touched position. When the face of the subject
appears dark, you can brighten the screen according to the brightness of the face.
You can optimize just the brightness for a touched position by using a function button or
you can optimize both the focus and brightness for a touched position by optimizing the
brightness when using the Touch AF.
Optimizing only the brightness for a touched position

Set a function button to [Touch AE].
The following step is an example in which [Touch AE] is assigned to [Fn6].
