    Performing a Full Installation of Windows NT Server 3.51 Inserting the Windows NT Server Setup Disk 3 When prompted to insert the Windows NT Server Setup Disk 3, follow these steps: 1. Insert the disk, and press Enter. 2. Verify that the bottom of the screen displays various drivers being loaded. Note: If the installation hangs when loading any of the SCSI drivers, you must create a small DOS partition on each of the disk drives and perform a DOS format on each of these partitions before installing Windows NT...

The first part of the chapter discusses what you need to do to your system if Microsoft Windows NT Server was pre-loaded at the factory. WARNING: If MS Windows NT Server was pre-loaded at the factory, heed this warning.

Most of these can be answered by choosing the default (highlighted) option, but in some cases specific information is required. Note: Know your hardware before attempting this installation.
