Keyboard Emulation Control
Console keyboard port emulation/bypass feature supports most gaming/
multimedia keyboards. The default setting is enabled. To disable, do the
following:
1. Invoke HSM (see page 27
2. Press [N].
This procedure is a toggle. Repeat to enable.
Note: When keyboard emulation is off, the [m], [w], [F2], [F4], [F5], [F6], and
[F10] hotkeys are disabled. See page 32, for details.
Mouse Emulation Control
The default setting is enabled. To disable, do the following:
1. Invoke HSM (see page 27
2. Press [M].
This procedure is a toggle. Repeat to enable.
Cursor Shift Port Switching
When you are using two displays, the Cursor Shift function allows the mouse
cursor to move back and forth across both displays, shifting the KVM focus
(See Cursor Shift, page 44. for details). The default setting is disabled. To
enable, do the following:
1. Invoke HSM (see page 27
2. Press [W].
This procedure is a toggle. Repeat to disable.
Note: This function is only available when mouse emulation and keyboard
emulation are enabled.
Other OS Mode
To reset keyboards and mice under operating systems that do not support USB
2.0, do the following:
1. Invoke HSM (see page 27).
2. Press [F1].
