Audio functions
NOTE
When an iPod is used as an audio source,

the car's infotainment system has a menu
structure similar to the menu structure of the
iPod player. See the iPod manual for
detailed information.

Audio settings
Adjusting audio settings
Press SOUND repeatedly to browse among
the following options. Adjust by turning
TUNING.
•
BASS
- Bass level.
•
TREBLE
- Treble level.
•
FADER
– Balance between the front and
rear speakers.
•
BALANCE
– Balance between the left and
right-hand speakers.
•
SUBWOOFER
* - Bass speaker level. Sub-
woofer must be activated before adjust-
ment is possible, see under the heading

CENTRE
- Level for centre speaker.

Surround
Surround settings govern the spatial
perception of the sound. Settings
and activating/deactivating are sep-
arate for each audio source.
The Dolby icon in the display indicates that
Dolby Pro Logic II is active. There are three dif-
ferent settings for surround sound:

The equalizer can be used to adjust different
frequency bands separately.
