General messages

The following popup messages alert you to conditions that may arise while you are using the unit. Consult this table if you
see something you do not understand.

The SD card is full during recording.
You tried to export a track that does not contain any recording data.
This pop-up appears if you try to export a song track that does not contain any
recording. (See "Track import and export" on page 67.) Export a song track that has
been recorded.
You are trying to restore a song when there are no backed-up songs on the FAT
partition ("Song backup and restoration" on page 66).
You are trying to enter repeat mode, but the time between the IN and OUT points
is too short. Make the time longer (more than 4 seconds). ("Using IN, OUT and TO
points" on page 46").
You are trying to import a WAV file from the FAT partition when there are no WAV
files there ("Importing tracks" on page 67). Connect the unit to a PC and transfer
some files to the FAT partition for import.
You are trying to import a WAV file from the FAT partition that is too large for the
remaining space on the partition. Free up some space on the MTR partion and try
again.
You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Bounce mode.
You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Master mode.
You tried to use a function that is prohibited during punch in/out mode.
You tried to perform an action that cannot be done while in Repeat mode.
Insert another SD card after turning off the unit, or format the card by MENU ®

You tried to store more than 999 location marks in a song ("Location marks" on page
45). Delete some location marks and try again.
You have tried to export a stereo master track ("Exporting a stereo master track" on
page 69) when the song does not have one. Master the song and then export the
stereo master track.
You tried to export a stereo master track which was too large for the remaining
space on the FAT partition ("Exporting a stereo master track" on page 69). Connect
the unit to a computer and free up some space on the FAT partition or reformat the
FAT partition.
You tried to enter auto punch in/out mode when no tracks were in record standby.
(See "Automatically punching in and out" on page 48.)
Put a track into record standby before enabling auto punch in/out mode
This pop-up message appears when the MTR partition does not contain enough
open space when you are trying to create or copy a song.
Erase an unwanted song (see "Erasing songs" on page 37), format the card (see
"Formatting cards" on page 63) or take other steps to make space available on a
card.
You're trying to edit the location mark list ("To edit a location mark" on page 45)
when no location marks have been set.
You have tried to use a non-existent master track as the source in a track cloning
operation ("CLONE track (track duplication)" on page 52). Select another source or
master the song and try again.
Insert an SD card after turning off the unit.
There are no actions to be undone. See "Erasing the operation history" on page 42.
The recorder is moving (not stopped, but playing back, recording, etc.) and you have
pressed a button such as the UN/REDO [HISTORY] button which cannot be used
until you press STOP.
You are trying to perform an action which cannot be done while recording.
