[1] Insert key and turn to START.
REWIND (MANUAL) STARTER (auxiliary)
CAUTION:
Do not stop engine by moving choke control to CHOKE.
Backfire, fire or engine damage could occur.
1/4 TURN
ELECTRIC (KEY) STARTER
[2] Let engine warm up.
If choke equipped: Slowly adjust
toward RUN position. Wait until
engine runs smoothly before each
choke adjustment.
[1] Insert key (if equipped) and turn to RUN.

[2] Grasp rope handle. Pull slowly until resistance is felt, then

STARTING
CAUTION:
To prolong starter life, use short starting
cycles (5 seconds maximum, then wait one
minute). Follow equipment manufacturer's
recommendations for charging battery.
