In the data downloaded by this function, frame loss may occur depending on the communication
condition. Therefore, the section download isn't recommended for backup use. To download a large
amount of data from the recorder for a long period, it is recommended to use the copy function of the
recorder.
Notice
While the section download function in blocks is in use, you can't use the following functions of
DX-TL5000 series recorder: copy 1, restore, deleting data from the copy 1 device, saving and loading
menus, and picture copy. Contrarily, while any of these functions of DX-TL5000 series recorder is in
use, you can't use the section download function in blocks.
<Advantages of block download>
・ The downloading speed is high.
・ Recorded audio data can be downloaded simultaneously.
<Restrictions on block download>
・ The SuperUser port is necessary to use block download. While the port is being used by
another user, you must wait until the port becomes free.
・ The function cannot be used while a copy function is being used or a menu is being saved on
the recorder side.
・ During block downloading, copying or menu saving cannot be performed on the recorder side.
・ Data can be downloaded only at the quality of the recorded picture.
・ The progress rate is unknown.
・ Even a little image consumes a capacity of 2 MB or more.
・ The download frequently results in failure owing to communication errors.
