Outside Calls

With outside calls, you can talk to people who are not members of your telephone system.
When you make an outside call, however, you must dial any area codes or long-distance
digits that your telephone company requires.
Placing Outside Calls
Placing an outside call is calling someone who is outside of the Inter-Tel Axxess or 5000
telephone system network.
To place an outside call using the menu button:
1.
With the application selected, press the OUTGOING menu button.
2.
Dial the desired number.
To place an outside call using the dialpad:
1.
Dial the outside access code (such as 8) to reach an outside line. See your system
administrator if you don't know the outside access code.

Dial the desired number.
To place an outside call using the Plantronics CS50-USB Wireless Headset:
1.
Press the Talk/Call Control button on the headset to establish dial tone.
2.
Dial the outside access code (such as 8) to reach an outside line. See your system
administrator if you don't know the outside access code.
Receiving Outside Calls
You can receive calls from outside the Inter-Tel Axxess or 5000 telephone system network
using your Model 8602.
To receive an outside call:
Press
Press the ANSWER menu button.
Press the flashing ring lamp.
If using the Plantronics CS50-USB Wireless Headset, press the Talk/Call Control
button on the headset.
