NOTE: Check that there is nothing on the other side of the mounting surface that may be damaged
by drilling.
Attach the transducer to the transom, using supplied stainless steel screws. Drill a 1" (25mm) hole above
the waterline, large enough to pass the connector through. Secure the cable to the hull at regular intervals
using cable P clips or saddles and ensure that moving parts such as an outboard motor or boarding
ladder can't snag the cable.
Adjusting the transducer
If the sounder image shows interference lines on the screen when moving, which worsen with speed, it
may be possible to eliminate these by adjusting the transducer's angle.
