Customers are mapped to a user and the user is mapped to a role. The role has
organization information that maps a backup group to a cell manager, and can
include multiple organizations.
Filtering uses organizations to return only report data applicable to the customer.

Adding and removing services in a portal view
To add a Data Protector module to a portal view:
1.
Access the portal view by logging on to SIP as a user with access to the
appropriate role. If this user has access to multiple roles, switch to a role with
ViewAdmin editing permissions.
2.
Navigate to the Storage tab.
3.
At the bottom of either wide column, either:
• Select a Data Protector module from the Select Module to Add list box, and
click Add, or
• Click Edit to access the Modify Column page. Insert the Data Protector module
and place it in the desired location among other modules in the column.
Click OK to save the changes and return to the main portal page.
