and disengage them quickly.

Drive Control
Locatedon the undersideof the upperhandle,the drivecontrolis used
to engage/disengage wheels.Squeezethe drivecontrolagainstthe
upperhandleto engagethe wheels;releaseto disengage.
Auger Control
Theauger controlis adjacentto the upperhandle.Squeezethe auger
controlagainstthe upperhandleto engagethe augers;releaseto
disengagethe augers.

ARNING: Never make adjustments to the chute
assembly unless both auger and drive controls are
disengaged and the operator is standing beside the
unit.

yoursnow thrower.Readand followall instructionscarefullyand

and properly.
Chute
Handle
Thedirectionof snow throwingcorrespondsto the directionof the
chuteopening.Usethe chute handleto turnthe chute assemblyin the
directionyou wish to throwthe snow.
Chute Knob
The distancesnow is throwncan be adjustedbyeitherraisingor
loweringthe upperchute.Loosenthe chute knobon the side of the
upperchuteto adjust.Pivotthe upper chuteto desiredposition,and
retightenthechute knob.
Speed
Selection
Lever
Yoursnow throweris equippedwith a 3-speedpowerpropelleddrive
system.Thespeedis controlledbythis speedselectionlever,located
on the left side of the upperhandle.Threespeedsare provided.
With the leverall the way down,towardsthe engine,speed 1 is your
slowestspeed.
iMPORTANT:Toshift gears,the unit mustbe runningand thedrive
control mustbe released.
Shave Plate
The shaveplatemaintainscontactwith pavementas the snow
throweris propelled,allowingsnow closeto pavement'ssurfaceto be
discharged.
Skid Shoe
The space betweentheshaveplate and the groundcan be adjusted.
Forclosesnow removal,placeskid shoesin the lowposition.Use
middleor high positionwhenareato be clearedis unevenor on gravel
surfaces.
