Followthe steps below to make yourVCR record'iV programs while
you'reawayfrom home.Youcanhaveup_o seventimer recordings.For
eachone,theVCR will turn itselfon, record, and turn itselfoff auto-
matically.Before you beginmakesure:

• The VCR clock isset. Detailsare on pages14-15.
• There is a tape in theVCR. Make sure the tape's record tab is intact
and the tape is long enough to record the program(s).

• TheVCR is inVCR position.TheVCRdTV light will appear.If it does
not, press theVCR/TV button once. Detailsare on pages19-20.

arrow is beside your choice, press the F.FWD button.
• ONCE -TheVCR will record aTV programon anyclayyou
choose,up to 12 months away.
• DAILY -The VCR will record a TV programat the sametime on
the same channel e very day,Monday through Friday.
• WEEKLY -TheVCR will record aTV programat the same time on
the same channelevery weel_for example,every Monday.
TheTIMER PROGRAMMING menu
will not appear at step I if the VCR
clock is nat set. Followthe steps on
pages 14-15 to set the VCRclock.
