Using the surface units.
Throughout this manual, features and appearance may vary from your model

Surface Cookware
Tips
Use medium-
or heax3,-weigbt
cookware.
Aluminum
cookware
conducts
heat faster
than other
metals.
Cast-iron
and coamd
cast-iron
cookware
are slow m absorb
heat, but generally
cook evenly at low m
medium
heat settings.
Smel pans may
cook unevenly
if not combined
with
other
metros.
For best cooking results, pans should be
fiat on the bottom. Match the size of the
saucepan m the size of the surface unit.
The pan should not exmnd over the
edge of the surface unit more than 1".
Use only flat-bottomed woks.
Wok Cooking
Werecommend t hat youuseonlya flat-bottomed
wok. They areavailable at yourlocalretailstore.
Do not use woks dmt have support rings.
Use of these types ofwoks, wkb or
without tile _ing in place, can be
dangerous.
Placing die ring over the surface unit will
cause a build-up of heat that will damage
the porcelain cooktop. Do not t_y to use
such woks without the ring. You could be
seriously burned if the wok dpped ove_.
Deep Fat Frying
Do not overfill cookware widl fat dmt
may spill over when adding food. Frosty
foods bubble vigorously.
