Care and cleaning of the range.
Oven Shelves
Clean the oven shelves with an abrasive
cleanser or steel wool.
Aider cleaning, rinse the shelves with
clean water and dry with a clean cloth.
Lift the door straight up and off the
hinges.
Lift-Off Oven Door
The oven door is removable for easier
access to the light bulb.
Donotlift thedoorby thehandle.
Toremove the door,open it m file broil
stop position. Grasp fimdy on each side
and lift the door suaight up and off the
hinges.
Donotp/acehandsbetweenthehingeandthe
ovendoorframe.
To replace the door, make sure file hinges
are in file broil stop position. Position file
slots in the bottom of the door squarely
over file hinges and slowly lower it over
both hinges.
Toclean theinsideof thedoor:
Soap and wamr will nommlly do the
job. Hem 3,spattering or spillovers may
require cleaning with a mild abrasive
cleaneL Soapy, wet metal pads m W also
be used.
Donotallowfoodspills with a highsugaror acid
content(such astomatoes, sauerkraut, fruitjuices
or pie filling)to remainon thesurface. T hey may
cause a dullspotevenaftercleaning.

If necessary, you may use an oven
cleaneL Follow the package directions.
Clean the inside of the oven window
with a miM non-scratching cleaner and
a damp cloth.

Use soap and water m flloroughly
clean the rap, sides and flont of the
oven doon Rinse well. You may also use
a glass cleaner to clean the glass on the
outside of the dooL Do not let water
drip into the vent openings.
Spillage of marinades, fiuitjuices,
tomato sauces and basting mamfials
containing acids may cause
discoloration and should be wiped up
immediamly: When surface is cool,
clean and rinse.
Do not use oven cleaners, cleaning
powders or ha_h abrasives on the
outside of the dooL
Oven Light
Before replacing the bulb, disconnect
electrical power to the range at the main
fllse or circuit breaker panel.
I,_t file bulb cool completely before
removing it. Replace file bulb wifll
a 40-watt appliance bulb only. Do not
much a hot bulb with a damp cloth
because the bulb will break.
Painted Surfaces
Painted surfaces include the sides and
the drawer flont.
Clean these with soap and water or
a vinegar and wamr solution.
Do
not use conlnlercial oven cleaneis,
cleaning powders, steel wool or harsh
abrasives on any painted surface.
