Replaceable charcoalfilter
NOTE: DONOT rinse, or put chorcoa!

Charcoal Filter-Recirculating Installations Only
Thecharcoal filter cannot be cleaned.
It must be replaced.Orderfilter no.
WBO2XI0700. Replacement f ilters
can be orderedfrom your GEsupplier.
If the hood isnot ventedto the outside,
the air willbe recirculated througha
disposable charcoalfilter that helps
removesmokeand odors.
Thecharcoalfiltershouldbe replaced after
6 to 12months(depending on hoodusage).
Toremove:
Pulldown on the centerofthe front edge
of thefilter.Thefilter willthenslipout of
the retainingtabs on the back.
Toreplace:
Slipthe backedgeof the filter intothe
retainingtabs and pushthefront edge
up until it snapsinto place.

frequently. T ocleanthe hoodsurface,use
a hot, dampcloth with a milddetergent
suitablefor paintedsurfaces. A boutone
tablespoon of ammoniamay be addedto
thewater.Usea clean,hot, dampclothto
removesoap.Dry with a dry,cleancloth.

Remove the bulb and replaceit with
a type A15 incandescent l ightbulb with
an ordinaryscrewbase,not more than
60 Watts,or a type A17or 72 Compact
Fluorescent ( CFL)light bulb with an
ordinaryscrewbase,not more than
13 Watts.NOTE: U seonly incandescent

Toremovethe light cover
(onsomemodels):
• Press the sideswith two fingersuntil
the sideprongsare released.
• Liftthe lightcoverand slideit toward
you in one motion.
Toreplacethelight cover:

of the coverintothe top opening.
• Gentlypushthe coverup and press the
sidesto fit the sideprongsintothe side
openings.
• Release a ndthe coverwilllockin position.
