CUTTER DECK ADJUSTMENTS Due to the many cutting conditions that exist, it is difficult to suggest a cutter deck setting that will work for every lawn. There are two adjustments that can be made on these decks, pitch and height. PITCH is the angle of the blades (comparing front to rear).
NEUTRAL ADJUSTMENT REMOVE HAIR PIN -NOTE- Neutral has been set by your Scag dealer at the time of setup and normally does not need to be adjusted. If, however, you find that the neutral has come out of adjustment follow the proce- dure below.
