Parental control setting
Set the new password : :
Some discs are specified as not suitable for children
Playback of such discs can be restricted with this
TV/DVD
Press SETUP and the SETUP screen
displays
Press SETUP and the SETUP screen
displays
Press A/_' to select LF_._; (SETUP), then press
.</_. or ENTER
Press ,_/v to select [_!!|!(SETUP), then
press 4/_- or ENTER
Press A/_r to select "ParentaF, then press
or ENTER
"Enter Password" screen wil! appear
Press 0000 °sin° Nombo, bu,,o°s {0-9)
(Please note, this is pre-setting password of
level list witl appear
• If you input a wrong number, press CANCEL
Level Off The parental control setting does not
function.
Level 8 Virtually a!] DVD software can be played
back.
Level 1 DVD software for adults cannot be
_tayed back,
Press .t,/v to select "Password", then press
or ENTER
"Enter Current Password" screen will
appear
Press Number buttons (0-9) to enter the
password you have stored
• if you input a wrong number, press CANCEL

Then press ENTER. "Enter New Password"
screen will appear Press Number buttons
(0-9) to input the new password
• Select from level 1 to level 8 The limitation will be more
severe as the level number decreases
Press A/v to select from the level 1 to level
8 The limitationwill be more severe as the
level number is lower Then press ENTER
Press SETUP to return to the normal screen
After the rating ls locked, the setting cannot be
changed unless you enter the correct password
Press ENTER Now your new password has
been set 8e sure to remember this number!
If you forget the password ....
t Press EJECT to remove the disc
2 While holding 7 down on the remote control and at the
same time press STOP on the front panel 'Password
Clear" appears on the screen Now the password has
been returned to lhe initial value ("0000")
• The password is required every time when you change
the parental levet
', Depending on the discs, the TViDVD may not be able to
limit playback
,, Some discs may not be encoded with specific rating tevel
information fhough its disc jacket says "adult" For those
discs, the parental control feature wi!i not work
