i. Tenir ldg_rement l'extrdmitd du fil supdrieur et imprimer lentement un
tour au volant manuel l'avant (anthoriaire) pour abisser et relever
l'aiguille.
2. Tirer sur le fil supdrieur pour remonter le fil inf_rieur.
3. Tirer environ i0 cm (4") des deux ills et les placer vers l'arri_re de la
machine_ sous le pied-de-biche.

1. While lightly holding the end of the upper thread, slowly turn the
balance wheel to the front (counter-clockwise) once by hand to
lower and then raise the needle.
2. Pull on the upper thread to draw up the lower thread.
3. Pull out about 10 cm (4") of both threads and place them toward
the back of the machine under the presser foot.

1. Coja con suavidad el final del hilo superioryde con cuidado una
vueka con la mano a la ruedecilla hacia delante (hacia la
izquierda) para ba]ar la aguja.
2. Tire del hilo superior para levantar el hilo inferior.
3. Saque unos 10 cm de ambos hilosy coloquelos en direccion a la
parte trasera de la maquina, debajo del prensatelas.
