The AE dial lets you select automatic

manual con(rol of several features.
To Turn on the Full Auto Mode

Set the POWER switch to CAMERA.
The power indicator lights and the
camcorder
enters record-pause.
---- PAUSE = _ appears in the viewf'mder
or on the LCD monitor.
Set the AE dial to AUTO.
Press the thumb trigger to start
recording.
• The camcorder
automatically
controls focus, exposure, and white
balance.
• The tally light is turned on.
• The MENU dial and the DATE/
TIME button will not operate.
• AUTO DATE is selected for the
date and time display.
To Turn Off the Full Auto Mode
1. Set the AE dial to MAN.
