changing programmed recording settings
If you want to change
the programmed
recording
settings:
O
Press the MENU
button
on the remote
c_ntrol.
Your VCR
will turn on and the "VCR Main Menu" will appear
on your
screen.
Press the ADJUST
buttons
to select "Program
to record."
Press the ENTER
button.
You'll see the 'recap"
screen.
O
Press the ADJUST
buttons
to place the cursor
next to the
program
you wish to change.
Press the F,NTER button.
You
will see the "Program
to record" menu.
O
Repeatedly
press the ENTER
button
to _;elect the item you
wish to change.
Use the ADJUST
buttorls
to change
it,.
Use the MENU
button
to turn off the menus.
Then, use the
POWER
button
to turn
off the VCR. Make sure the pro-
grammed
recording
light is on.

Press the MENU

on the remote
control. Your VCR will
turn on and the '_VCR Main Menu" appears
on your screen.
Use the ADJUST
buttons
on the remote
control to select
"Program
to record." Press the ENTER
button.
You will see the _'recap" ,_creen. Use the ADJUST
buttons
to
place the cursor
next to the program
yot. wish to cancel.

Press the CANCEL
button.
The program
is erased.
Press
the MENU
button
once to return
to the "VCR Main
Menu;" press
it again to turn offthe
n:tenus.
loading a tape for programming
If, after programming,
you fi)rget to load a tape, or if you load a
tape with its erasure
tab removed,
then the programmed
record-
ing light and the tape status
symbol will fla_;h. A tape wkhout
an
erasure
tab will be ejected. To correct this, load a tape with its
erasure
tab intact,
and turn off the VCR.

If the VCR is without
power for 30 seconds
(,r less, it will retain
the time and the programmed
settings,
provided
the VCP has
been plugged
in for at least an hour beforehand.
If the power is
lost for more than 30 seconds,
the time and ;he programmed
settings
will be lost.
