Dryer Exhaust Tips

Use 4 inch diameter
rigid metal duct. Tape all joints,
including at the dryer. Never use
lint-trapping screws.

Keep duct runs
as straight as
possible.

flexible duct.

Use longer
than necessary
duct runs with
many elbows.

Clean all old ducts
before installing your new
dryer. Be sure vent flap opens
and closes freely. Inspect and clean
