1' Open the battery/card cover.
Press the battery/card cover lock lever in the direction shown _, slide
the cover towards _2) and open it towards _.

Insert the 8D Memory Card into the 8D Memory Card
socket so that the label is facing toward the front of the
camera (the side with the lens).
Push the card in all the way. Images and sound may not be recorded
correctly if the card is not inserted all the way.
Close the battery/card cover.
While lightly pressing the battery/card cover in the opposite direction
indicated by (2), slide the cover. The cover clicks to confirm that it is
securely closed.
Open the battery/card cover.
,2 Push the card into the 8D Memory Card socket to eject
it.
Pull the card out.
!f the battery!card cover is not locked securely when YOUclose it, water,
sand, or dirt may get into the camera.
