Using the side of the battery to press the battery lock
lever in the direction of \Y4_, insert the battery with the
PENTAX logo pointing toward the lens.
Push the battery in until it is locked in place.
Make sure that the battery is inserted with the PENTAX logo pointing
toward the !ens. !f the battery is incorrectly oriented, ma!function may
result.

Close the battery/card cover.
While lightly pressing the battery/card cover in the opposite direction
indicated by _2_ slide the cover. The cover clicks to confirm that it is
securely closed.
1 Open the battery/card cover.
2 Press the battery lock lever towards _/4_.
The battery will be ejected. Take care not to drop the battery when
removing it.
