if the tillerwill not be usedfor a period longerthan30
days,the followingstepsshouldbe taken to preparethe
tiller for storage.
Cleanthe exteriorof engineand the entiretiller
thoroughly.Lubricatethetiller as describedin the
lubricationinstructions.
We do not recommendthe useof pressurewashersto
cleanyour unit.They may causedamageto spindles,
pulleys,bearings,or the engine.The use of pressure
washerswill resultin shortenedlifeand reduce
serviceability.
Referto the enginemanualfor correctenginestorage
instructions.
Wipetines with oiled ragto preventrust.
Storetiller in a clean, dry area.Do not storenext to
corrosivematerials,such as fertilizer.
When storingany type of powerequipmentin an
unventilated or metalstorageshed,care shouldbe
taken to rustproofthe equipment.Usinga light oil
or silicone,coat the equipmentand especiallyany
springs,bearings,and cables.
