SECTION 3: SETTING UP SparkPlugWire Disconnect spark plug wire from the spark Spark Plug plug, and ground it against the engine. If engine is equipped with a rubber boot, attach ireX rubber boot to a bolt on the engine to ground. See Figure 1. - Page 7 StarterRope The starter rope is attached to the engine. StartingEngine WARNING: Be sure no one other than the operator is standing near the lawn mower while starting engine or operating mower. Never run engine indoors or in enclosed, poorly ventilated areas. Engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, an odorless and deadly gas. Keep hands, feet, hair and loose clothing away from any moving parts on engine and lawn mower. -

SECTION 5: MAKING ADJUSTMENTS ARNING: Always stop engine, disconnect spark plug, and ground against engine before performing adjustments. Cutting Height Height Adjustment Each wheel has a height adjustment lever to change the cutting height of the mower. To change the height of cut, squeeze adjuster lever toward the wheel, moving up or down to selected height. -
