The
PIX (picture)
control
adjusts
the
picture
sharpness.
Rotate
clockwise
to increase
picture
sharpness
(SHARP)
and
counter-
clockwise
to decrease
picture
sharpness
(SOFT).
Adjust
to your
preference
or rotate
to the center
",detent"
position
for the factory
pre-set
picture
level.
The BRIGHTness
control
adjusts
the "black
level"
of the picture.
This
adjustment
can be made
more
precise
when
the COLOR
_1
button
is pressed
and
held
to obtain
"black
and white"
picture.
Adjust
to your
preference
or rotate
to the center
"detent"
position
for
the factory
pre-set
brightness
I_vel.
The CONTrast
control
adjusts
overall
picture
contrast
level.
This
adjustment
can be made
more
precise
when
the COLOR
button
is pressed
and held to obtain
"black
and white"
picture.
Adjust
to
your
preference.
When
the
CONTrast
control
is adjJsted,
the
on-screen
"CON-
TRAST"
display
(yellow)
and
con':fast
level
indicator
(green)
confirms
adjustment
lew_.l.
The CONTRAST
adjustment
is gradual
and continuous
until
either
button
is released.
NOTE:
The
CONTRAST
control
may
not
seem
to work
upward
with
a bright
picture.
This
is due
to Automatic
Contrast
Limiter
operation.
The COLOR control adjusts the color intensity
of the picture. Press
the COLOR I_ button to increase color intensity
or the COLOR •
button
to decrease
color
intensity.
Adjust
to your
preference.
When
the
COLOR
control
is adjusted,
the
on-screen
"COLOR"
display
(yellow)
and
color
level
indicator
(green)
confirms
adjustment
level.
The
COLOR
adjustment
is gradual
and
continuous

either
button
is released.
