Press the SET button
to set the channel number
to be locked.
To LOCK only one channel proceed to Step 8. To
LOCK an additional
channel press the POSITION
button again. The display for the second channel
to be locked flashes. Press the SET button to SET
the second
channel
to be locked.
Press the LOCK button to conclude the CHANNEL
LOCK procedure.
To confirm
that the CHANNEL
LOCK is in operation,
attempt
to tune
to the
locked
out channels.

NOTE:
1. During
the operation,
if you do not press next key within
10 seconds,
the on-screen
display disappears
and the contents which have been set will be automatically
canceled.
2. The lock condition
is maintained
permanently
until canc'eling
the channel
LOCK.
3. When press the QUICK VIEW button after programming
thE;channel lock, the channel can
be switched
to the last one viewed but can not be siwtched
to the locked channel again.
4. When the power on/off button is turned on with a locked ct" annel selected, TV selects the
next higher
channel,
5. The channel
lock function
does not work until completing
the channel
lock program
correctly.
If the
procedure
is not
finished,
the entire
command
for
the
channel
lock
will
be
canceled.
Example:
When
the secret
4 digit
code
and at least one lock
channel
are not entered
respectively.
When
the indications
of the "LOCK"
mode
are erased
by channel
LOCK button
before
the
procedure
is finished,
the
entire
command
will
also
be neutralized.
