Speaker Setup
Adjust DOWNMIX according to how you connectedthe Playerto your TV
and/or Stereo. Balancethe volume during playbackby adjustingDynamic Range
Control (D.R.C.).
Press SYSTEM MENU.
Press • to select SPEAKER SETUP, then press OK.

Press • or • to select DOWNMIX or D.R.C., then
press I_ and follow step 4 according to your choice.
• If you selected DOWNMIX, press • or • to select LT/RT
(left/right) or STEREO, then press OK. Choose LT/RT if you
connected the Playerto a stereo that has Dolby Pro Logic. Detailsare
on page 13. Select STEREOif you connected the Player to a TV or
Stereo that has left and right Audio In jacks but does not have Dolby
Pro Logic.
• If you selected D.R.C., press • or • to select ON or OFF, then
press OK. To levelthe volumeduring Disc playback,chooseON. There
will not be such a large rangebetween the loudest and softest parts of the
sound.To hear the highsand lowsof the volume,set D.R.C.to OFF.
Press SYSTEM MENU to remove the menus.
3D Sound
Once you set DOWNMIX to LT/RT or STEREO,you can choose whether
to activate the fuller 3D (three-dimensional) sound during Disc playback.
Press the DISPLAY button.

Press I_ repeatedly to select ON or OFF beside 3D. Then,
press • or • to choose ON or OFF.
