AUTOMATIC TIMER RECORDING
You may set the TVNCR
to record while you are away. You can set seven events to record on a specific day, daily
or weekly within a 1 year period.
• You must use the remote
control
unit for the following
steps:
• Be sure the clock is set to the correct time and date before setting the timer.
• Power must be turned on to set automatic
timer recording.
In the example below, the timer is being set to record:

Insert a blank cassette, or one that you want to record
over, into the cassette compartment.
If necessary, rewind or fast forward the tape to the point
you want to start recording.
Press MENU button.
Select item 1 (TIMER PRO-
GRAMMING)
using num-
ber 1 button.
The program numbers which
are not set up will flashe.

• If Timer Recording has already been filled, "PROG.
12345678" appears. If so, press MENU button to re-
turn the TV mode.
• If you did not set the clock, "MANUAL CLOCK
SET" appears. If so, follow page 16 to set the clock
and repeat from step [2].

• The program number 8 is used for setting QUICK
SET PROGRAM only. You cannot select number
8 in the procedure of Automalic Timer Recording.
• When a Timer Recording is being carried out, you
cannot set or change any programming of Timer Re-
cording.

• To record the program once, press number 1 button
to select "ONCE".
• To record the same program every day from Sunday
through Saturday (such as soap operas and other
daily serials),
press number 2 button to select
"DAILY".
• To record the same program every week on the same
day (such as every Saturday), press number 3 button
to select "WEEKLY".
Enter your desired month
using number button.
Regarding to "DAILY" and
"WEEKLY", enter the date
you want to start it.
Enter your desired day using
number button.
The day of the week changes
automatically.
