Set the required amount of the needle thread tension
using the marking s on the tension dial.

Thread tension
For the best stitch appearan ce and durabilit y make
sure the needle and bobbin thread tensions are
balanced with one another, i.e. the threads evenly
meet between the two fabric layers.
The followin g is valid for general sewing work:
Bobbin thread is visible on the top
the
fabric:

needle thread tension is too tight or the bobbin
thread tension is too loose.
The thread tension must be corrected .
