performance

to connect
the DIGITAL OUT jack to a
decoder
or amplifier/receiver
with built-in
decoder that
supports
Dolby Digital
EX. In this case, set "DIGITAL
AUDIO OUTPUT" on the "AUDIO"
preference
display to
"STREAM/PCM".
Though
you cannot enjoy audio using the analog audio
outputs
(AUDIO OUT), you can enjoy DTS ES audio by
connecting
the DIGITAL OUT jack to a decoder
or
amplifier/receiver
with built-in
decoder
that supports
DTS ES. In this case, set "DIGITAL AUDIO OUTPUT" on
the "AUDIO"

display to "STREAM/PCM".
Yes you can. "THX" is a name of the original
standard
for
high quality
picture/audio
recording
and playback
established
by Lucasfilm
Ltd. A disc labeled "THX" is
certified
that it passed this standard.
The disc is of the data CD format,
therefore,
the unit can
play back only files of the MP3 format.

records 2-channel
