Advanced operations
Angle selection
(during playback only)
Selects a desired scene angle in
the multi-angle part.
1 Press ENTER to open the pull-down window.
2 Use A/v to select a scene angle.
Example:
1/3 _ 2/3 _ 3/3
3 Press ENTER to playback with the selected
scene angle.
(See page 31 for details about angle selection.)

Note that, in the description of the
operation column, we assume the
associated icon is selected.

Time mode selection
Selects the time mode shown in
the display window on the front
3anel and in the status bar.

Repeat mode
Select the repeat mode.
Time search
(Except during Video CD/SVCD
playback with PBC)
Specifies the elapsed time from
the beginning of the disc, from
which the unit starts playback.
Program
(While stopped only)
Specifies the playback order of
tracks.
Press ENTER to select the time mode among the
followings.
TIME _ REM _ TOTAL _ T.REM _ Return to initial
• TIME: Current track elapsed time
• REM: Current track remaining time
• TOTAL: Disc elapsed time
• T.REM: Disc remaining time
1 Press ENTER to open the pull-down window.
2 Use A/v to select the repeat mode among the
followings.
OFF _ TRACK _ ALL _ A-B _ OFF
• TRACK: Current track repeat
• ALL: All track repeat
• A-B: Repeats a desired part (A-B repeat)
3 Press ENTER to make the selected repeat
function active.
(See pages 27 to 29 for details about the Repeat
function.)
1 Press ENTER to open the pull-down window.
2 Use numeric buttons to enter a desired time.
3 Press ENTER to playback from the specified
time.
(See page 23 for details.)
1 Press ENTER to bring up the program table.
2 Specify tracks in the desired order using the
numeric buttons.
3 Press _ to start program playback.
(See page 25 for details.)
• When you select "REM" while
stopped, you can change the track
by pressing 1<1<1 or IH_I.
• During stopped, "REM show the
recording time of the current track,
while "T.REM" show the total time of
the disc.
• If you select "OFF" during repeat
playback, the unit continues
playback without repeating.
• For the subsequent operations for
the A-B repeat, see page 28.
• This function cannot be used during
program playback.
