The oven rackscan be cleanedin the oven. However,the oven rackswilldiscolor,
lose shininess, a nd become difficult t o slidein and out if left in the oven duringthe
cleaningprocess. REMOVE RACKS FROM OVEN tF THIS DISCOLORATION
WILL BE OBJECTIONABLE. As a suggestion,do not leave the racksin the oven
duringeach self-cleaning processifthey do not need to be cleanedsincethey will
discolor to a dul!silverafterone cleaning. Moderatelysoiledrackscan be cleaned
with a soapy S,O.S. pad or Scotch-Britescour pad. Stubbornstains need to be
removedintheself-cleaning process.Be sureto read specialtipsonpage 30 ifoven
racks are cleaned duringthe self-cleaningprocess.

set oven to start cleaning immediately
Close the oven door,
Touch Clean Pad.
" H __". Indicator Words CLEAN TIME will flash and Display will show _ HR :
Touch Up or Down Arrow Pad(s) to select cfeaning time.
The first touch of an Arrow Pad will give you 3 hours of cleaning time. The cleaning
time can be varied depending on the amount of soil. Set"2:00" for light soil or "4:00"
for heavy soil.
Note: If more than fifteen seconds elapse between touching Clean Pad and
touching an Arrow Pad, the oven isnot set and time of day will automatically return
to the Display.
Example: If at 10 o'ctock you selected to self-clean your oven for 3 hours, the
Display will show:
3:00 -
Four seconds after selecting desired cleaning time the Display wilt return to time of
day and the Indicator Words HR and TI ME will go off. The LOCK Indicator Word and
the cooling fan will come on when the door is latched. The Indicator Word CLEAN
will remain and ON wilt appear and cycle with the elements to maintain the clean
temperature.
Example: If at 10 o'clock you selected a 3 hour ctean, after four seconds the Display
will show:
