I. Cbeck tl_e starter, tile
starter cord and tbe remm
spring.
2. blake sure that the
vibration damping
eleme/lts are not damaged.
3. Clean the outside of the
spark plug. Remove and
check the electrode gap.
Adjust the gap to 0.5 mm
or change tile spark plug.
4.(]lean the cooling fins on
the flywheeI,
5. Clean or replace the
mul'fler's spark arrest
screen (not on inuffiers
with a catalytic converter).
6. Clean the carburettor area.
7. Clean tile cooling fins oil
the cylinder and check that
the air intake in tlne starter
unit is not blocked.

l. Clean the fuel tank.
2. Clean
die carburettor
and
the area surrounding
it.
3. Clean the fan and the area
around it.
4. Check tile fuel f_lter and the
fuel pipe, replace if
necessary.
5. Check a!l cables and
connections.
6. Clnange the spark plug.
7. Check and clean the
muffler's spark arrest screen
i_'necessary (only mufllers
with a catalytic converter).
