3.15.7 Peripheral Configuration Subscreen

This section describes the Setup options for the Peripheral Configuration subscreen. For
peripherals set to Auto, the BIOS automatically configures the peripheral during power up.
3.15.7.1
Primary PCI IDE Interface
Disables or automatically configures the primary PCI IDE hard disk interface. The options are:
Disabled
Auto (default)

Secondary PCI IDE Interface
Disables or automatically configures the secondary PCI IDE hard disk interface. The options are:
Disabled
Auto (default)
3.15.7.3
Floppy Interface
Disables or automatically configures the diskette drive interface. The options are:
Disabled
Enabled
Auto (default)

Serial Port 1 Address
Selects the logical COM port, I/O address, and IRQ of Serial Port 1. The options are:
Disabled
COM1, 3F8h, IRQ4
COM2, 2F8h, IRQ3
COM3, 3E8h, IRQ4
COM1, 3F8h, IRQ3
COM2, 2F8h, IRQ4
COM3, 3E8h, IRQ3
Auto (Setup assigns the first free COM port, normally COM1, 3F8h, IRQ4) (default)

Serial Port 2 Address
Selects the logical COM port, I/O address, and IRQ of Serial Port 2. The options are:
Disabled
COM1, 3F8h, IRQ4
COM2, 2F8h, IRQ3
COM3, 3E8h, IRQ4
