The following information will help you choose cookware which will give good performance on glass cooktops.

Never cook directly on the glass,
Always use cookware,
Always place the pan in the center of
the surface unit you are cooking on.
About the radiant surface units...
The radiant cooktop features heating
units beneath a smooth glass surface.

glass--the glass is scratch-resistant,

sometimes appear as scI_ltches on tile
cooktop, but can be removed if cleaned
immediamly. Because of its low melting
point, thin weight aluminum
should not
be used.
CopperBottom:
recommended
Copper may leave residues which can
appear as scratches. Tile residues can be
removed, as long as the cookmp is
cleaned immediately. HoweveL do not let
these pots boil dD,. OveHleamd metal can
bond to ,glasscookmps. An oveHleated
copper bottom pot will leave a residue
that will permanently
stain the cooktop
if not removed immediamly.
Porcelain Enamel-CoveredCast Iron:
recommended
As long as file cookwme is covered
completely wifll porcelain enamel, rids
cookwme is recommended.
Caution is

for cast iron cookwme
that is not complemly covered with
smooth porcelain enamel, since it may
