Burner Caps and Heads
NOTE:Beforeremovingthe burnercaps
and heads,remembertheirsize andlocation.
Replacethemin thesamelocationafter
cleaning.
Replacement
Replace burner heads over the electrodes
on file cooktop,
in file correct
locations
according to their size.
Use a sewing needle or twist-tie
to unclog the small hole in the burner
head.

Burner heads
For proper ignition, make sure the
small hole in the section that fits over the
electrode is kept open. A sewing needle
or wire twist-tie works well to unclog it.

at all timesforan even,unhampered f lame.
Clogged or dhty burner ports or elecuodes
will not allow the burner to opemm properly.
Any spill on or around an elecuode must
be careflflly cleaned. Take care to not hit
an electrode with anydflng hard or it coukt
be damaged.
You should clean the burner caps and
burner heads routinely, especially after bad
spillovers, which coukt clog the openings
in the burner heads. LiR off when cool
To remove burned-on ff_od, soak the
burner heads in a solution of mild liquid
dew,gent and hot wamr for 20-30 minums.
For more stubborn stains, use a toothbrush.
After cleaning
Before putting the burner caps and heads
back, shake out excess water and then (h T
them thoroughly by setting in a l.vitiIIl oven
for 30 minutes.
NOTE: Do not use steel wool or scouringpowders
to clean the burners.

Make sure the slot in file burner head is
positioned over the electrode.
Replace file matching size caps onto file
heads. There is one large, one small and
two medimn caps.
